The primary character in DDB. He was born to bring about the apocalypse, but has other plans. Features: He has a demon inside of him that occasionally turns him into a giant centipede. Walker is a surgeon, a black-blooded leech, and a stubborn lecher. Born into a cult called the Bahutha, Walker has grown to despise it: not for its wrongdoings, but for their refusal to honor his pride. Although his personality is crude, he is no lost cause. Secrets: He is very clingy, a child in the face of love. His temper is a result of torture-fueled anxieties.

Features: He has tattoos that bind him to whoever's blood is in the ink--first Fayet's, now Walker's. He makes a lot of drastic decisions in the midst of manic episodes or benders, and thus propels the people around him in strange directions. Secrets: Coyote's sister is a well-known politician. There is blood on his hands.

Features: Julie uses her powerful lineage to her advantage, while disregarding many of the rules set in place to ensure their safety, for the sake of results. Secrets: There is a reason Julie won't let Walker get too close.

Once the owner of Coyote's soul, he is none too happy when Walker overwrites his contract and steals his agent away. Features: Although he is a dominant force, Fayet cannot leave his bubble dimension, and can only operate in the human world through dimension-travelling agents (AKA contractors). Secrets: Fayet can see the future, and while he cannot control it, he might hope to sway it in one direction or another.

Walker's unborn baby--then child. Features: Delia spawns bugs from her blood and makes those around her queasy just by existing. The first of her kind: a fractured vessel of the dead Atar, there is no predicting who she might become. Unaware of her powers until it is too late. Secrets: Though she acts like she hates her father, Delia truly wishes for them to be closer, if only she were not so viscerally afraid of him.

Typically, she assumes the form of a child, and while bound to the mind of one, has a rather immature disposition and is preoccupied with toys. Secrets: Luella has a particular interest in the fate of Delia, for some reason.
